Women's Spring Bible Study 2018
January 10th - January 11th, 2018
For our spring session, Kelly Minter will guide us through the Book of 2 Corinthians.
Explore the anchoring truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. Each of us has a message to proclaim and live by: Because of Jesus the old has gone, the new has come.
Join us if you want to:
Grow in biblical literacy with in-depth study of the Book of 2 Corinthians

Understand God's ways will set you free
You can choose between Wednesday nights or Thursday mornings, whichever best fits your schedule. Childcare will be provided.

Our spiritual life involves constant progress. That progress is marked by transitions from one level of faith to another. Baptism is the mark of our most important transition. The ritual of baptism duplicates the model of Jesus Christ when He was crucified, buried, and returned to life. When Christ rose, His body was different than before. He was free from the limitations and pain of mortality. This is the transition from death to life. The Christian life follows His pattern. We "sacrifice" our lives by giving them to God. Our old lives, with their wrong actions and evil desires, are "buried." God then gives us a new life, inspired and energized by His Spirit.
Baptism represents this three stage process. We believe in Jesus and join Him in His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism is our rite-of-passage into the Christian life. If you're ready to follow Jesus, you're ready to be baptized.
Our next baptism service will be on Thursday May 3rd, with a brief class held before the service at 5:30pm in the Prayer Room.
June 4th - August 27th, 2018

The kids will stay in tee pees, choose Indian names, and experience Christ through worship and teachings.

Red Door HSM Africa 2019
July 27th - August 10th, 2019
Has God placed a desire in your heart to help the widowed, orphaned and needy? If you are in High School or you’re interested in joining the Red Door HSM 2019 team. This will be our 8th trip to our care-point located in Thembeni, Swaziland.
July 27th to August 10th, 2019. Estimate only since airfare cannot be purchased more than 11 months in advance.
That may seem like a lifetime away but that gives you time to raise your support. We purchase our “non-refundable” airfare in October to get the best price which is a few months away. The total cost of the trip typical runs less than $2,000* including airfare, safari, transportation, insurance etc… The total cost of the trip will be determined once we ticket your airfare and sign contracts with charter bus to transport team from Johannesburg to Manzini. In the meantime please feel free to check other organizations that offer trips to Africa and you will see the going rate runs about $5,000.
We are priced considerably lower because we stay right at the Carepoint with roughing it living conditions: i.e. air mattresses and sleeping bags on the floor, intermittent and cold water for showers, cooking team rotations over a camp stove, little privacy). This saves you considerably over the option to stay in a fancy hotel one hour away.
